One of the most requested series for Disney+ is the series House Of Mouse (2001) which is a series about Mickey Mouse and his group of pals running their own cartoon dinner theatre club and catering to characters from Disney animated movies and cartoons, whilst showing off their own shorts.
House Of Mouse ran for fifty-two episodes over three seasons but also received two straight to video animated specials in Mickey’s House Of Villains (2002) and Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse (2001).
The fact that Disney has a Mickey Mouse and Friends collection on Disney+ but House Of Mouse and its two specials are missing is just disappointing, especially when you consider there are probably millions of fans for this series who probably paid for Disney+ to watch this series only for them to realise the series has been omitted from the Disney+ catalogue.
The holiday specials not being present is also really sad for many parents who had a tradition of watching them with their kids each year. Both specials were on Netflix for a whopping 7 years from November 2012 until shortly before Disney+ launched in November 2019! Most people expected that to mean they would transfer over shortly but they did not.
As for why House Of Mouse is missing? We don’t actually know the reason Disney hasn’t released the series onto Disney+. It’s possible they are in the process of remastering it.
If you want to see House of Mouse on Disney+ in time for Mickey’s birthday this November, make sure to request the series via Disney’s official title suggestion report system.
